I tried the boots on, l am a size 9The boots have a snug fit with a thin sock on. I have a wide calf, the zip goes right up. There is room to make the boots wider around the calf. There is no steel toe. I weighed the boots. They each weigh under 2 pounds. I added pictures to show the inside of the boots where the laces are.
