Doc Martens remain a favorite and these are a modernized classic styling for the younger group. I have used Wonder Balsam on them and only found light scuffing on the edge of the toe. Easy to slip into with a side zip and tie ankle styling. Good tread with little wear and insoles look clean. not much scuffing and soles seem solid .no pulling apart. good time to get your child a pair of shoes they will love as much as we adults have loved them. size 3 in bigger kids seem like more for a girl than boy.
